About the Project
Thanks to generous support from the Fred C. & Katherine B. Andersen Foundation, the Hugh J. Andersen Foundation, and other generous donors, more than 176,000 pages of historic Washington County newspapers have been digitized and are now available for free public access. Phase 3 (2026) is now underway.
